Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That, having regard to the projecting lettering on the two fascia signs, in non-traditional materials and the illuminated menu boxes which are also constructed in non-traditional materials, the signage would detract from the appearance of the building and the character and visual amenities of the Conservation Area.  As such the proposal is contrary to Policies G2, G6, CON7, CON8 and AD1 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 and advice in the Council's Shopfront Design Guide.
