Refusal of Listed Building Consent on 5th February 2008
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the proposed new door openings would represent an inappropriate form of development that would fail to respect the historic character, appearance and setting of the listed building and would result in the permanent loss of historic fabric and features of the listed building. In this way the proposals would be contrary to guidance contained within Planning Policy Guidance Note 15 and Policy CON3 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.

That insufficient details and justifications have been provided for the proposed works in respect of fire proofing, sub-division of rooms and locations of flues, vents and waste pipes. In this regard the proposals would be contrary to guidance contained within Planning Policy Guidance Note 15 and Policy CON3 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.
