That the materials used for the roof of the lean-to extension are not sympathetic to the grade II listed building and do not respect the established character of the building and are harmful to its character and special historical and architectural qualities. The retrospective proposal for the retention of a lean-to shed with vent above is therefore unacceptable as it is contrary to policies CON2 and CON3 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.
That the incongruous materials used for the roof of the lean-to extension harms the setting of the listed building contrary to policy CON 5 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.
