That the proposed extension would result in the loss of a characteristic gap between dwellings and could lead to a terracing effect.  The proposal would therefore detract from the character and appearance of the streetscene and as such, would be contrary to the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, particularly Policies G2, G6 and H13 and the South Oxfordshire Design Guide 2000.
