Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 11th October 2007
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
Having regard to the location of the site within the defined primary shopping frontage of Henley-on Thames, the proposal to change the use of the premises to a non shop use would undermine the vitality and viability, and the dominant retailing character and function of the primary shopping frontage. The proposal would therefore be contrary to Policy TC8 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 and Government Guidance as set out in PPS6.
