Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 23rd July 2007
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That, having regard to the forward location and height of the fence relative to Deanfield Road, the development would result in an incongruous intrusion into the existing open space, which would detract from the character and appearance of the street scene, contrary to Policies G2, G6 and D1 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan

That, having regard to the position of the fence, the proposal would encourage the use of the area of land immediately adjacent to No. 15 Deanfield Avenue as a private garden for the occupants of No. 15A Deanfield Avenue. This will unacceptably harm the amenity of the occupants of No. 15 in terms of a loss of privacy contrary to Policy D4 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
