Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of three years from the date of this consent. Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 as amended by section 51 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004.

Samples of the materials to be used for the wall hereby approved shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before any work commences. Reason: To ensure that the materials are appropriate to the special architectural or historic interest of the listed building in accordance with Policies CON2 and CON3 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.

The wall hereby approved shall be constructed in Flemish bond using lime mortar, unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To ensure that the materials are appropriate to the special architectural or historic interest of the listed building in accordance with Policies CON2 and CON3 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.

The capping detail of the works hereby approved shall match that of the existing wall on the eastern boundary of The Limes. Reason: To ensure that the works are appropriate to the special architectural or historic interest of the listed building in accordance with Policies CON2 and CON3 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.

All new works, and works of making good to the retained fabric shall, unless otherwise approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority, be finished to match original or adjacent work (as deemed appropriate by the Local Planning Authority) with regard to the methods used and to materials, colours, textures and profiles. Reason: To protect the special architectural and historic character of the building in accordance with Policy CON3 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.
