That the proposed materials for the lettering on the fascia signs and the size and design of the menu casing would be inappropriate and unsympathetic to the character of the Grade II Listed Building and the visual amenity of this part of the Henley Conservation Area.  As a result the proposal fails to accord with Policies G2, G6, CON3, CON5, CON7, CON8 and AD1 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 and guidance contained within Planning Policy Guidance Note 19: Outdoor Advertisement Control.
