Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 16th March 2007
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
The proposals are contrary to policies G6 and H13 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 and to advice contained in the South Oxfordshire Design guide. Having regard to the excessive size of the two storey extension and to it's location on the front of the property, the proposals would result in an unsatisfactory and prominent form of development that would detract from the form of the existing property and from its appearance in the street scene.

The proposals are contrary to policy H13 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan and to advice contained in the South Oxfordshire Design guide. Having regard to the excessive size of the two storey front extension and to its position in relation to the adjoining property, 128 St. Andrews Road, the proposals would result in an unneighbourly and overbearing form of development that would detract form the residential amenity currently enjoyed by the occupants of the adjoining property.
