Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of three years from the date of this consent. Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 as amended by section 51 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004.

No works shall take place until samples of the walls and roofing materials to be used in the construction of the works hereby permitted have been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Samples shall include stone, stonework, handmade clay bricks, brickwork, handmade clay tiles, lime rendering including mix and colour, lime wash and external joinery colour. Works shall be carried out in accordance with the approved details. Reason: To ensure that the established character and special historical and/or architectural qualities of the listed building are protected and that the character of the surroundings are preserved in accordance with Policies CON2, CON3 and CON5 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.

That the fabric of the listed building is properly protected during the repair and construction works. Reason: To ensure that the established character and special historical and/or architectural qualities of the listed building are protected in accordance with Policies CON2, CON3 and CON5 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.

That details of the type, design and finish of the doors and windows, including section and elevation drawings at a maximum scale of 1:5, shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority prior to the commencement of works and thereafter implemented as approved. Reason: To ensure that the established character and special historical and/or architectural qualities of the listed building are protected in accordance with Policies CON2, CON3 and CON5 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.
