Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That, having regard to the distance of plots 2 and 3 to the adjoining properties in Bishops Orchard, the proposals would result in an unneighbourly form of development which would overlook and be oppressive to the occupiers of the adjoining properties, contrary to Policy H4 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan and section 4 of the South Oxfordshire Design Guide.
That, having regard to the distance between Plots 1 and 2, the development fails to provide adequate standards of residential amenity for the occupiers of Plot 1, contrary to Policy D4 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That, having regard to the lack of any sustainable features in the scheme, the development would fail to conserve or make best use of energy, water and materials, contrary to Policy D8 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That, having regard to the size and type of dwellings proposed, the development fails to meet the social needs of the community, contrary to Policy H7 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
