The operation of the units shall produce a rating level no greater than 3 dB above the background level according to the assessment procedure given in BS 4142:1997 "Method for rating industrial noise affecting mixed residential and industrial areas" (with noise readings taken at 1 metre from the boundary to the nearest residential property).
Reason: To protect the amenity of adjacent residents in accordance with Policy EP2 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That, within three months of the date of this decision, alterations to the flue extract point shall be carried out to ensure a vertical extract point rather than horizontal as at present. A detailed specification of the proposed alterations on a drawing shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority prior to the implementation of the changes. The alterations shall be carried out in accordance with the approved details and retained as such.
Reason: To protect the amenity of adjacent residents in accordance with Policy EP2 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
