Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the proposed rooflights shall be conservation style and shall be so retained. Reason: To safeguard the character of the listed buildings in accordance with Policy CON3 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That details of the type design and external finish of all windows, external doors and rainwater goods shall be as set out in the agent's letter dated 27 September 2006 with accompanying information. Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory in accordance with Policies G6 and CON3 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That the materials to be used for the construction of the external walls and roofs of the buildings shall be as approved under planning permission P04/E1169. Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory in accordance with Policies G6, CON3 and CON4 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That no demolition or alteration of any existing building or part of any existing building other than the demolitions and alterations shown on the approved drawings shall take place without the prior written consent of the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To ensure a satisfactory appearance to the works and to the conversion of these barns in accordance with Policies CON4 and E8 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That no vents or flues shall be inserted in the buildings without the prior written consent of the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory in accordance with Policies E8 and CON4 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That the external staircases shall be constructed in timber, dark stained and shall be so retained and maintained. Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory in accordance with Policies G6 and CON4 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
