As such, the proposal would fail to preserve or enhance the character and appearance of the Thame Conservation Area and would fail to reinforce local distinctiveness, contrary to Policies G2, G6, CON5, CON7, D1 and H4 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.
