Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this consent.
Reason: By virtue of Sections 18 and 74 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990.
That prior to the commencement of works, details of the materials to be used for the windows and doors, and the finish to the weatherboarding shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority.
Reason: To protect the character of the listed building and the character and appearance of the Conservation Area in accordance with Policies CON3 and CON7 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That a photographic record is made of the roof truss likely to be uncovered when the dividing wall is removed in the rear extension, and of the brick well in the proposed dining room once uncovered, and that this is submitted to and agreed in writing by the Local Planning Authority.
Reason: As the building is of archaeological /historic importance in accordance with Policy CON3 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That prior to the commencement of works, details of the extractors, vents and flues in respect of the new bathroom/kitchen equipment shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority.
Reason: To protect the character of the listed building and the character and appearance of the Conservation Area in accordance with Policies CON3 and CON7 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That a detailed investigation and photographic record is made of the fireplaces on the ground and first floors at the time these are opened up and that details at a scale of 1:20 or extracts from catalogues showing the form of the fireplaces proposed are submitted to and agreed in writing by the Local Planning Authority prior to their installation.
Reason: As the building is of archaeological/historic importance in accordance with Policy CON3 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
