Conditions / Refusal Reasons
The lighting elements providing illumination for the proposed signs shall not be visible from the public highway. Reason: In the interests of highway safety in accordance with Policies G2, AD1 and T1 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.

Notwithstanding the information supplied with the application, details of a top-down cross section showing the width of the horizontal tubes behind the lettering, methods to prevent the spillage of light to either side of the lettering onto the remainder of the fascia and details of the level of illumination shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority prior to the installation of the illumination. The details shall be implemented as approved and thereafter retained as such. Reason: To safeguard the visual amenity of the locality in accordance with Policies G2, CON7 and AD1 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.
