That having regard to the size and bulk of the proposed garage and to the existing triple garage on the site, the proposal would consolidate the existing scatter of development and appear prominent and intrusive in views of the site from the Harpsden Valley which is within the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. In this way the proposal would be contrary to policies G2, G6, C2 and H13 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.
