Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of three years from the date of this consent.
Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 as amended by section 51 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004.
That prior to any work commencing, samples of the brick to be used for the walls of the orangery and pergola, the rubbed brick around the arches of the orangery and the brick to be used for the new brick walls on the south east and south west aspects of the kitchen garden, shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority.
Reason: To protect the setting of the main house and the character of the surrounding listed buildings and walling in accordance with Policies CON2 and CON5 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.
That prior to any work commencing, details of the windows and doors to the orangery shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority at a scale of 1:20.
Reason: To protect the setting of the main house and the character of the surrounding listed buildings and walling in accordance with Policies CON2 and CON5 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.
That the hoppers and downpipes of the orangery shall be cast iron and retained as such.

That prior to the commencement of any work details of the timber beams to the pergola shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority.

That prior to any work commencing samples of the materials to be used for the paving surrounding the swimming pool and the new pathways in the vicinity shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority.
Reason: To protect the setting of the main house and the character of the surrounding listed buildings and walling in accordance with Policies CON2 and CON5 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.
