That the proposed garage conversion and resultant loss of an off-street parking space would mean that 12 Clarendon Drive would no longer provide an appropriate level of car parking provision for a property of its size. The loss of parking space would be likely to give rise to additional on street parking and manoeurving on Clarendon Drive to the detriment of highway safety and the convenience of other road users. As such the proposal would be contrary to Policies T2 and T8 of the Oxfordshire Structure Plan 2016 and Policies H13 and T1 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan and advice in the South Oxfordshire Design Guide.
