Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 22nd February 2006
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That, having regard to the size and proximity to the boundary of the neighbouring property to the north, the proposed extensions represent an oppressive form of development that would be detrimental to the amenity of occupants of that property. The development is therefore contrary to Policy H13 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That having regard to the design, size and massing of the extensions, the proposal represents an inappropriate and incongruous form of extension detracting from the character, appearance and detailing of the existing dwelling and would be detrimental to the visual amenity of the locality. The proposal is therefore contrary to Policies G2 and H13 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan and Section 4.6 of the South Oxfordshire Design Guide.
