That, having regard to the prominent location of the application property at the entrance to Loddon Drive, the proposed extension, by reason of its unsympathetic design projecting beyond the side wall of the main house resulting in an awkward relationship with the site boundary would have an incongruous and obtrusive appearance, which would be detrimental the established character of the application property and to that of the surrounding area. As such the proposal is contrary to the provisions of Policies G6 and H13 of the South Oxfordshire Local plan and those of the South Oxfordshire Design Guide para 4.6.
