Planning Permission on 10th August 2005
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of five years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition is not complied with this permission shall lapse. Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.

That samples of all materials to be used in the external construction and finishes of the development hereby permitted shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before the development is commenced. Reason: To safeguard the character of the area in accordance with Policy H12 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That, notwithstanding the details shown on drawing nos. 1719/P204A and P202A, the face of the blind dormer (side to Tara House and May Cottage) shall be blocked by the construction of a wall in accordance with details to be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority prior to the commencement of development. The external wall of the blind dormer shall be finished to match the external wall of the existing dwelling. Reason: To avoid a perception of overlooking to neighbouring properties in accordance with Policy H12 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That notwithstanding the provisions of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 1995 (or any order revoking and re-enacting that Order) no windows shall be constructed in either side elevation of the dwelling other than those expressly authorised by this permission. Reason: To ensure that the development is not unneighbourly in accordance with Policy H12 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That development shall not begin until a detailed specification of the type, design and external finish of all windows and external doors has been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory in accordance with Policy CON10 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
