That having regard to its excessive size relative to the existing the degree of projection to the side and pronounced asymmetric roof form the proposal represents an inappropriate extension which would detract from the duality of design of the existing pair of semi detached dwellings, detrimental to the character and appearance of these properties and the visual amenity of the street scene. The development would therefore be contrary to Policy H12 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, Policy H13 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 Second Deposit Draft and the provisions of Section 4.6 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Design Guide.
