Decision
Refusal of Listed Building Consent on 6th July 2005
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
The proposal involves the provision of two dormer windows on the front roof elevation; as there is no evidence to suggest that such dormers existed in the past their inclusion in the roof space on the most prominent elevation would detract from the special architectural and historic interest of this Grade II listed building and the character and appearance of the East Hagbourne Conservation Area. As such the proposal would be contrary to Policies G1, CON6 and CON10 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan and Policies G2, CON5 and CON10 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 Second Deposit (Draft) and advice in PPG15.
