Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this consent. Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990.

That details of the new steps and balustrades shall be submitted to and agreed in writing by the Local Planning Authority before the work commences. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of the listed building in accordance with Policy CON6 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That a traditional lime mortar shall be used. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of the listed building in accordance with Policy CON6 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That samples of tile, facing brick and stone to be used for the works shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before any work commences. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of the listed building in accordance with Policy CON6 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That a method statement and/or specification of all works to be submitted shall be submitted to and aprpoved in writing by the Local Planning Authority prior to this work commencing. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of the listed building in accordance with Policy CON6 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That an archaeological survey of the structures to be removed or altered shall be carried out in accordance with a brief to be agreed in writing by the Local Planning Authority prior to the commencement of these works on site. Reason: In order to secure the proper recording of the building in accordance with Policy CON5 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
