That, the proposed two storey side extension is tall and narrow such that it appears out of proportion with the building which has already been extended several times, and confuses the composition and silhouette of the original 19th Century building to the detriment of the character and appearance of the Conservation Area and street scene. As such the proposal is contrary to Policy CON10 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan and the Second Deposit Draft South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
