That the development proposed would constitute a cramped form of development resulting in unsatisfactory standards of environment and residential amenity for occupiers of the proposed dwellinghouse contrary to policy H11 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan and policies D3 and D4 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 Second Deposit Draft September 2003.

That the buildings proposed to be extended and converted in order to provide this new dwelling are inadequate in area to accommodate satisfactorily the development proposed in a manner compatible with existing development and the development would be detrimental to the character and appearance of the area contrary to policies G1 and G8 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan and policies G2 and D1 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 Second Deposit Draft September 2003.
