Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of five years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition is not complied with this permission shall lapse.
Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.
That the use of the building shall be restricted to agricultural use, including the storage of agricultural machinery, storage of hay and foodstuffs, and occasional use for livestock (subject to condition 3 below), all, solely in association with the farming of the adjoining land, as set out in the application, and for no other purpose whatsoever.
Reason: Because permission is given only in view of the special circumstances in accordance with Policy C8 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Local Planning Authority, no animals other than cattle shall be kept in the building and such use shall be restricted to the 4 bays identified on the approved plan.
Reason: To ensure that the development is not unneighbourly in accordance with Policy C9 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That samples of the materials to be used for the external walls and roof shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before any development commences.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory in accordance with Policy C8 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That if, within a period of 10 years from the date of the substantial completion of the building hereby permitted the use of the building for agricultural purposes permanently ceases and, within a period of 3 years of the cessation of the use, planning permission has not been granted for an alternative use, or an appeal is not outstanding, the building shall be demolished, the materials removed from the land and the land left in a tidy and orderly state.
Reason: To safeguard the character of the area in accordance with Policy C8 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
