Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this consent. Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990.

That prior to the commencement of works, a schedule of works for the sitting room ceiling shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before the works commence. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historical character and appearance of the listed building in accordance with Policy CON3 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That works shall not begin until a detailed specification of the type, design and external finishes of chimney pots and vents have been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historical character an appearance of the listed building and the character and appearance of the Great Haseley Conservation Area in accordance with Policy CON4 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That a stone panel demonstrating the infilling of the former shop window shall be first erected on site and then approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before the work of construction commences. This stone panel will demonstrate the bonding and coursing of the walling The wall shall be constructed in accordance with the agreed panel details. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historical character an appearance of the listed building and the character and appearance of the Great Haseley Conservation Area in accordance with Policy CON4 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

Following the removal the cement render from the gable facing Rectory Road, a photographic record of the exterior of the gable shall be submitted to the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historical character an appearance of the listed building and the character and appearance of the Great Haseley Conservation Area in accordance with Policy CON4 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That samples of the materials to be used for the roof shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before any work commences. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historical character an appearance of the listed building and the character and appearance of the Great Haseley Conservation Area in accordance with Policy CON4 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That works shall not begin until a detailed specification of the type design and external finish of the ground floor french doors have been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historical character an appearance of the listed building and the character and appearance of the Great Haseley Conservation Area in accordance with Policy CON3 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That prior to the commencement of works for the formation of the first floor bathroom, a schedule of works shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historical character an appearance of the listed building in accordance with Policy CON5 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That works shall not begin until a detailed specification of the type design and external finish of the reinstated second floor window which faces Rectory Road, has been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historical character an appearance of the listed building and the character and appearance of the Great Haseley Conservation Area in accordance with Policy CON3 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That prior to the insertion of a structural oak post in the sitting room, construction details and drawn details of the oak post shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historical character an appearance of the listed building and to secure the safety of the listed building in accordance with Policy CON4 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That before any work is undertaken in pursuance of this consent, such steps shall be taken and such works shall be carried out to secure the safety and stability of the building during the alterations, and to provide protection for the building against the weather during the progress of the works. Reason: To secure the safety and protection of the listed building in accordance with Policy CON2 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
