Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this consent. Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990.

That samples of all materials to be used in the external construction and finishes of the works hereby permitted shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before the works are commenced. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of the listed building and the character and appearance of the Great Milton Conservation Area in accordance with Policy CON3 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That a brick panel demonstrating the materials, bonding, coursing of the walling and the lime mortar to be used for the bedding and pointing shall be first erected on the site and then approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before the work of construction commences. The wall shall be constructed in accordance with the agreed panel details. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historical character and appearance of the listed building and the character and appearance of the Great Milton Conservation Area in accordance with Policy CON3 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That prior to the dismantling and reconstruction of the potting shed, a photographic record of the interior and exterior of the potting shed shall be submitted to the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To safeguard the identification and recording of features of historic interest associated with the setting of the listed building in accordance with Policy CON7 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That prior to the dismantling and reconstruction of the potting shed, a schedule of works shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before the works commence. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of the listed building and the character and appearance of the Great Milton Conservation Area in accordance with Policy CON7 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That works shall not begin until a detailed specification of the type, design and external finish of all windows and external doors of the proposed pool room and plant room have been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of the listed building and the character and appearance of the Great Milton Conservation Area in accordance with Policy CON3 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
