Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the proposed access with the A4155 would have poor visibility in the Reading direction and having regard to the proximity of the access to the junction of Station Road and Reading Road, this could result in conflict between vehicles entering the A4155 from Station Road and cars exiting the proposed access. It is therefore considered that the development would be detrimental to highway safety. In this respect the development would be contrary to the provisions of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, particularly policy G10 and the South Oxfordshire Local Plan (Second Deposit) Draft, particularly policy T1.
