Conditions / Refusal Reasons
This application relates to a former agricultural building and its conversion to a dwelling was carried out to reflect this character and its relationship with the adjacent listed buildings.
The proposed family room would be out of character with this former agricultural building in terms of its form and position on the building and as such would be an incongruous feature which would detract from the character and setting of this listed building. As such the proposal is contrary to Policies CON6 and CON7 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan and Policies CON4 and CON7 of the Second Deposit Draft South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
