That the proposed dwellings would have an adverse effect on the setting of Tudor Cottage and The Cottage, which are Grade II listed buildings contrary to policies G1 and Con 7 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan and policies G2 and Con 7 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 Second Deposit Draft.
Tiddington is a small village where infill development only may be acceptable. Given the site's limited frontage to the road, it is not considered to be a gap in an otherwise built up frontage and therefore the erection of two dwellings on the site would not constitute infill contrary to policies G1 and H4 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan and policies G2 and H5 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 Second Deposit Draft.
That the development would create an unacceptable intensification of the substandard A418/Albury View junction which lacks adequate visibility, to the detriment of the safety and convenience of users of the public highway contrary to policies G1 and G10 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan and policies G2 and T1 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan Second Deposit Draft 2011.
