That, having regard to the rural character of this part of the river bank, the erection of three sign boards would seriously detract from the visual amenity and the character and appearance of the river environment, the Goring -on- Thames Conservation Area and the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. As such, the proposal would be contrary to Policies G1, C2, CON12 and G13 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan and Policies G2, C2, CON13 and AD1 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 Second Deposit (Draft).
