That, having regard to the detailing and design, the up and over garage door would represent an incongruous form of development which would detract from the character and appearance of the East Hagbourne Conservation Area and the setting of the listed building.  As such, the proposal would be contrary to Policies G8, H12, Con7 and Con10 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan and Policies G6, H13, Con 7 and Con 10 of the Second Deposit Draft and the advice contained in the South Oxfordshire Design Guide.
