Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this consent. Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990.

A sample panel of brickwork shall be constructed and submitted for approval in writing by the Local Planning Authority before work commences on the rebuilding of the brick plinth. Reason: To safeguard the character of the listed building in accordance with Policy CON3 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That the plain clay tiles to be used for the roof(s) shall be of the same colour, type and texture as the sample inspected on 19th July 2004. Reason: To safeguard the character of the listed building and the conservation area in general in accordance with Policies CON3 and CON10 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That the works to strip the roof and the walls shall take place between the beginning of September and the end of October only. Reason: In order to ensure that no protected species are endangered or harmed in accordance with Policy C14 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That if any bats are found in the barn during refurbishment then all works shall stop immediately and the Local Planning Authority shall be notified. Works shall not continue until written approval has been given by the Local Planning Authority to recommence. Reason: In order to ensure that no protected species are endangered or harmed in accordance with Policy C14 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
