Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this consent. Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990.

That before any work is undertaken in pursuance of this consent, such steps shall be taken and such works shall be carried out to secure the safety and stability of the building during the alterations, and to provide protection for the building against the weather during the progress of the works. Reason: To secure the safety and protection of the listed building in accordance with CON5 of the Adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That a sample panel of lime mortar pointing on the rear elevation shall be constructed on site and be inspected and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority prior to the commencement of work. Reason: To safeguard the character and appearance of the historic structure in accordance with CON4 of the Adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That samples of stone for the front door jam and tiles for the front door entrance way shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority prior to the commencement of work. Reason: To safeguard the character and appearance of the historic structure in accordance with CON3 of the Adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That samples of the oak floor board shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority prior to commencement of work. Reason: To safeguard the character and appearance of the historic structure in accordance with CON5 of the Adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That upon the opening up of the fireplace surrounds, details of the replacement fireplaces in bedrooms 1 and 4 shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To safeguard the character and appearance of the historic structure in accordance with CON5 of the Adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That the details of the repairs that are to be made to the floor beams shall be submitted to and approved in writing to the Local Planning Authority prior to commencement of work. Reason: To safeguard the character and appearance of the historic structure in accordance with CON5 of the Adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That, upon the opening up of the ceilings details of the replacement lath and plaster shall be agreed in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To safeguard the character and appearance of the historic structure in accordance with CON5 of the Adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That the rising damp and wall and floor finishes are to be inspected and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority once the floor slab is visible. Reason: To safeguard the character and appearance of the historic structure in accordance with CON5 of the Adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
