That the proposals would be contrary to Policies GB2 and H12 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan and Policies GB2 and H13 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 Second Deposit Draft 2003. The site lies within the Oxford Green Belt and the proposed extension would result in a disproportionate addition to the original dwelling house representing inappropriate development in the Oxford Green Belt prejudicing the openness of the Oxford Green Belt.
That having regard to its size, form and relationship to the existing building the proposed extension would detract from the character of the existing building and from the character and appearance of the Area of Great Landscape Value in which it is prominently located contrary to Policies H12 and C3 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan and Policy H13 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 Second Deposit Draft 2003.
