Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That before any work is undertaken in pursuance of this consent, such steps shall be taken and such works shall be carried out to secure the safety and stability of the building during the alterations, and to provide protection for the building against the weather during the progress of the works. Reason: To secure the safety and protection of the listed building and to comply with Policy CON6 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That samples of the materials to be used for the capping and walling shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before any further work is conducted on site. Reason: To ensure that the materials for the new wall respect the character and appearance of the listed cottage in accordance with Policies CON6 and CON7 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That prior to the commencement of any further work a sample panel of the bricks and flint work, together with the bedding and pointing mortar, shall be constructed on site. Thereafter work shall proceed in accordance with this panel once it has been approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To ensure that the materials for the new wall respect the character and appearance of the listed cottage in accordance with Policies CON6 and CON7 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
