Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 20th June 2005
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That, having regard to the prominent position, length and character of the boundary wall within the conservation area, the removal of a section to create a new access would break up its continuity and the sense of enclosure in the street scene, detracting from the appearance of the wall and the special character of the Conservation Area. As such, the proposal would be contrary to Policies G1, G8, CON10 and CON15 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan and Policies G1, G6 and CON10 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 2nd Deposit (Draft).
