Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That having regard to the size, form and design of the proposed extension, and to the previous extensions and alterations that have been carried out to Thimble Hall, a grade 11 listed building, it is considered that the proposal would further erode the historic interest of the listed building and unacceptably detract from its character and appearance. In this respect the proposal is contrary to policies G1, G8, H12 and CON 6 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, policies G2, G6, H13 and CON 4 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 Second deposit draft 2004 and advice contained in the South Oxfordshire Design Guide
