That the conversion of the building to two dwellings would result in the loss of an essential community facility that provides day and short term respite care to local disabled children. Whilst alternative provision has been made elsewhere in the County there is still considered to be need for this facility in Henley-on-Thames. Therefore, the development would be contrary to the provisions of the Council's Adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan particularly policy CF2 and the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 (Second Deposit Draft), particularly policy CF1.
