Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of five years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition is not complied with this permission shall lapse.
Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.
That samples of the materials to be used for the external walls shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before any development commences.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory in accordance with Policy CON10 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That the new wall shall be constructed in traditional garden wall bond using lime mortar.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory in accordance with Policy CON10 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That except for the removal of cypress trees and a small sycamore tree, the remaining trees shall be protected in accordance with advice set out in BS5837. If construction activity is proposed within the tree protection zone, a method statement shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority which includes proposals to mitigate damage to tree roots. The development shall be carried out in accordance with the approved statement.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory in accordance with Policies CON10 and C8 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That the new wall shall be constructed strictly on the alignment of the existing and previously existing wall.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory in accordance with Policies CON10 and R7 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
