Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 11th August 2004
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
The proposed extension to the opening hours of the mobile van/trailer would be likely to result in noise and disturbance late at night in the vicinity of the van/trailer, to the detriment of the amenity of the occupiers of nearby residential property, contrary to Policies G1 and G7 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan and Policies G2 and EP2 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan (Second Deposit Draft September 2003).

The proposed extension of the opening hours of the mobile van/trailer would be likely to diminish the attractiveness of nearby residential property within the town centre, contrary to Policy H10 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan and Policies TC4 and TC5 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan (Second Deposit Draft September 2003) which seek to encourage residential uses in town centres as such uses often provide ideal accommodation for small households and add vitality and security of town centres, particularly in the evenings.
