Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of five years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition is not complied with this permission shall lapse.
Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.
That the external walls shall be clad in horizontal, straight edged, black or dark stained timber weatherboarding and shall thereafter be retained as such.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory in accordance with Policies G1 and C11 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That the roofs shall be covered with natural slates a sample of which shall first have been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before the development commences.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory in accordance with Policies G1 and C11 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That the tourist accommodation units hereby permitted shall be used solely as holiday accommodation and shall at no time be used as permanent residential accommodation.
Reason: The units do not provide adequate standards of residential amenity for permanent residential accommodation in accordance with Policies C11 and TSM8 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That prior to the first use of any of the units as tourist accommodation, the parking area shown on Drawing No. 996303 Rev C shall be provided and shall thereafter be retained.
Reason: To comply with the Local Planning Authority's vehicle parking standards and to protect local amenities in accordance with Policy T5 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That prior to the commencement of any other work in accordance with the development a pedestrian footway shall be constructed along the southern side of the vehicular access to Swiss Farm from Marlow Road, in accordance with Drawing No. 268/06 accompanying the aplication. Thereafter the pedestrian footway shall be permanently retained as such.
Reason: In the interests of pedestrian and highway safety in accordance with Policy G5 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That notwithstanding the provisions of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 1995 (or any order revoking and re-enacting that Order) no windows shall be constructed in the west or south elevations of the barn other than those expressly authorised by this permission.
Reason: To ensure that the development is not unneighbourly in accordance with Policy G1 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That development shal not commence until surface water drainage works have been carried out in accordance with details submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority.
Reason: To prevent pollution and flooding in accordance with Policies G6 and G17 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
