Decision
Refusal of Outline Planning Permission on 1st June 2004
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the proposal would be contrary to the general environmental and housing policies of the approved Structure Plan for Oxfordshire, particularly policies G1, G5 and EN1 and the provisions of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, particularly policies G1, G5, C2, C3 and H6, and the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 2nd deposit draft, particularly policies G2, G4, C1 and H6. The site lies beyond the built up area of Lewknor and would serve to consolidate the loose knit row of dwellings extending from the village towards the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, detracting from the character and appearance of the area. Insufficient justification accompanies the application to justify a departure from the adopted policies of the Local Planning Authority.
