Decision
Planning Permission on 17th May 2004
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of five years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition is not complied with this permission shall lapse. Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.

That the materials to be used in construction and finish of the stable shall match those of the existing building. Reason: To protect the character and appearance of this part of the countryside and Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in accordance with Policies G1, C2 and R10 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That the stable shall be constructed with a gas permeable membrane, the details of which have previously been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Reason: As the site lies close to an area that has been land filled in the past it could be at risk from gaseous contamination. The use of a permeable membrane will allow for the escape of any gases in accordance with Policy G7 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That the additional stable hereby permitted shall only be used for the purposes as specified in the application, in connection with the use of the existing buildings. Reason: To protect the character and appearance of this part of the countryside and Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in accordance with Policies G1, C2 and R10 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
