That, having regard to its prominent location the proposed 15 metre high lattice tower with associated antennas up to an overall height of 17.5 metres would constitute a visually intrusive form of development which would be detrimental to the special landscape character and appearance of the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  As such, the proposal would be contrary to Policies G1, G15 and C2 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan and Policies G2, C2 and TE1 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 Second Deposit Draft and the advice in the South Oxfordshire Design Guide.
