That, having regard to its size, position, and design details the proposed extension would result in an inappropriate addition to the original dwellinghouse detracting from its symmetrical appearance, thereby adversely affecting the character and appearance of this Grade II Listed Building. As such, the proposal would be contrary to the Adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan policies CON6, G8 and H12 and policies CON4, G6, D1 and H13 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 Second Draft Deposit. It would also be contrary to advice in Section EX2 of the South Oxfordshire Design Guide.
