Alterations and extensions to existing dwelling to provide:- Ground floor - extensions to provide double garage, dining room extension at rear, alterations to entrance area and conversion of existing garage to study. First floor - alterations to existing layout internally to provide, additional bedroom, provision of studio office space, alterations to roof and formation of gallery above main bedroom. Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That, having regard to the size, scale and siting of the extension relative to the existing dwelling and inappropriate details of design the proposal would detract from the character and appearance of the existing site, contrary to policies H12 and G8 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, policies G6 and H13 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan Second Draft Deposit and Sections BD1, BD7, BD8, BD13, BD14, BD4, BD11, Principle 3, 15, 16, 17 and 18 EX1 and EX2 of the South Oxfordshire Design Guide.
